We support little Ginny

09.07.10

Wow!  Ginny has changed so much since we saw her in the hospital a few months ago.  She has a full head of hair and a great temperment.  Jason and Rachel couldn’t be happier to have their little girl home safe and sound.

Although Ginny’s family is incredibly lucky to live in Gainesville and be able to go home every night, not many families are that lucky.  As soon as Ginny left the hospital, another baby took her place.  Please join us in helping these families by participating in the Ginny’s Room program at the Ronald McDonald House of Gainesville.

For the entire month of September Photography 35 will being offering a special session fee ($25 for a studio session and $50 for an on-location session) and donating them to the Ginny’s Room Project.  Celebrate your family this fall with a new family portrait.

Do you want to see more photos from Ginny’s session?  Visit our Facebook Page, Photography 35.

Family Fun

08.25.10

Gregg and I recently had our Aunts and Uncles who live in Florida come to see the new studio (oh, our cousin Jamie was also here from Boston visiting as well!)  From the pictures, I think you can see where Gregg’s humor comes from.  Uncle Ed wanted to be a Cowboy (he made the rocking horse for us many, many years ago).  Uncle Joe wants to be Cleopatra (loved our couch) and Jamie wants to be a kid again.  We were laughing so hard.  It was hilarious.

Enjoy a few pictures of our play day with family…

Sarah’s Senior Session

07.26.10

We had a blast recently doing Sarah Forron’s senior session in Micanopy.  We wandered around downtown and found a variety of cool spots to shoot.  Even with it being a 110 in the shade we still had a blast.  Summer in Florida can make you melt.  The next day Sarah headed back to CCL for 2 straight weeks of work on the Lake.  What a great summer job.  Glad we could steal her away for a few minutes to get these great photos.

Little Rylee to arrive soon

07.19.10

Saw on Facebook yesterday that Little Rylee Kozlowski is due to arrive very soon. Jessica last post at 5am said she was being a little stubborn, but I expect by the end of the day Jessica and Phil will be the proud parents of a new baby girl. Here is what Jessica look like just a few short weeks ago…

Please help Little Ginny!

06.08.10

We need you and your friends to help our littlest client Ginny Lee Haeseler!

Jason and Rachel Haeseler, who we love dearly, just had their first child, a baby girl named Ginny Lee.  Ginny was born on May 28th with both pulmonary hypertension and transposition of the great arteries (TGA), a congenital heart defect.  (Click here to learn more about TGA).  Although she is very sick, her condition is fixable.  In the meantime, she is getting great care at the NICU at Shands and from Children’s Miracle Network.  In approximately two weeks, Little Ginny will need to have surgery to correct the TGA.  Such a big surgery for such a little girl!

Please help Ginny and others in similar situations by donating blood at Life South.  As a thank you for helping our friends, the Haeselers, we will give all those who give blood from today until June 23rd, a complimentary portrait session and an 8×10 portrait.  Just go to one of the two main centers on either Newberry Rd. or 13th Street and mention our studio name when you register to give blood.  No strings attached.  We just really want to help Ginny.

If you need more information about where to go to donate blood or if you can not donate blood, but want to help, call our studio at 352-371-9735 or contact the studio by e-mail at photography35@aol.com.

Daniels Clan

05.22.10

Fellow Linked-In Women’s member Diane Daniels recently brought her family into the studio for a portrait session with the newest addition little dog Cooper. Diane and Harry raised a beautiful family. Erin and Grethchen are both wonderful women. And now they have the fun of raising little Cooper, who is super cute. Maybe one day Jeter and Cooper can meet. Jeter had a blast coming into the studio the next day and sniffing all the places Cooper had been. Congratulations to Gretchen on her move and new job in Milwaukee.

Mitrook Sisters

05.21.10

Ava & Kate were amazing in the studio! I love, love, love this photo! ( I could keep using the word love about 5 or 10 more times, it is exactly what I envisioned. I am so excited.) It is the sweet look of sisters who love each other. And Kim did a fabulous job job with the dresses. They were the perfect models.

NEW LOCATION!

04.23.10

We are very excited to announce our move to the SW side of Gainesville.  Starting June 1st, we will be located at 7731 Newberry Rd.  That is directly across the street from Moe’s and right next to Pep Boys.  Our new studio space boast 1700 sq ft of space.  It will include a viewing room, grand gallery and lobby as well as our typical office and shooting space.  Our new space also has an outdoor area we will need to try out once we are in.

Right now we desperately need models.  1700 sq feet is 500 sq ft more than our old place and our grand gallery needs some grand pics.  Families, kids, pets and newborns are going to be our focus.  Let me know if you or someone you know fits the bill.  We will be shooting these at our current location.  We need everything ready to go up on the walls June 1st.

Tour of Kitchens

03.29.10

Last weekend was the Junior League’s major fundraiser – Tour of Kitchen.  It is always so fun to see the different ways people set up there indoor and outdoor eatting areas.  It was also a fantastic chance to see the Wagstaff’s Extreme Home Makeover house and the amazing Weingart home on 24th.  There were yummie food demonstrations by Flying Buscuit, I Love NY Pizza, Omi’s Kitchen, Dragonfly and many, many more.

The Junior League is very excited to announce a new fundraiser for next year – Dancing with the Star!  Get a chance to see local celebs show off there stuff.

Audrey & Jay’s engagement session

03.26.10

We had a blast recently photographing Audrey and Jay at Kanapaha Park.  They brought along there cute pooch to include in the their engagement pictures.  And I must say – she was a very well behaved dog (though she does know how to milk it for attention – I think all dogs know how to pull at your heart strings).  Ours would never be so good.   We had a great time strolling around the park getting great moments of the happy couple as they talked about wedding plans for their upcoming May wedding and the honeymoon.  Can’t wait for the wedding in a few more weeks.
