Michelle & Dustin

05.29.09

Dustin & Michelle are such a fun couple!  We went to Kanapaha Park for their engagement session, which is where they had their first date.  On their first date, they planted a small tree which still flourishes today.  This was also the site of the proposal, where Dustin put a tag on the tree asking Michelle to marry him.  How sweet!  We are looking forward to their wedding in August.

Junior League Grand Re-Opening

05.28.09

On Tuesday, the Junior League celebrated its grand re-opening of the Thrift Shop on Main Street.  The event was a huge success with the Chamber’s Chris Johnson dedicating the new store and congratulating the League on the difference they make in Gainesville.  Leaguers and community members got a chance to socialize and shop in the newly expanded area.  The League’s own, Amy Hogue, made a beautiful cake to celebrate this great event.

The Thrift Shop is the Junior League’s largest fundraiser.  Bring in thousand of dollars that gets redistributed to those in need in the community.  The league supports causes like CHS’s Family Visitation Center, HIPPY, Pleasant Place, Sid Martin Bridge House MIST Program, Kids Count in Alachua County and so much more.

Happy Birthday Connor!

05.26.09

How quickly one year flies. I remember when Amanda and Jason brought him in for his newborn portrait at 2 weeks old.  He has grown into such an amazing little boy.  His hat phase is starting to fade, he wouldn’t leave one on more than a second, but he is know growing into knew likes such as the animals at the petting zoo.

Connor went with his mommy to a petting zoo right after his session and I was told, he loved all the animals.  He petted chicks, bunnies and goats.  And was very sad when they had to leave.  I can’t wait to see Connor’s next phase in life.  Thnks for sharing Connor’s life with us.

Lianne and Dallas

05.20.09

What a beautiful day for a wedding at Haile Plantation Golf and Country Club.  Dallas pulled up to the country club in a Mustang him and his father rebuilt together.  Lianne and Dallas got married on the golf course under an arbor built by Dallas’s dad.  As they poured sand into the gator jar, guest cheered them along with an orange and blue chant. Lianne’s mom read a beautiful prayer written by the one and only Tim Tebow for the couple special day.  And what a special day it was.  Dancing, toast, dads (yes plural) sitting in for the bride during the garter removal, and many more wonderful moment throughout the evening.  We had a great time and want to congratulate the newlyweds.  The rest of the photos will be ready for viewing next week.  Until then… enjoy.

Happy Sweet 16

05.18.09
We had a great time Friday night at Sarah Watson’s Sweet 16 at Emerson Hall on University of Florida campus.  Sarah’s dad, Keith, owner of Keith Watson Productions, out did himself as he turned a plain ballroom into Tiffany & Co.  It all started downstairs with a NYC street scape with illusionists, pick pockets, and the crazy bag lady.  A Tiffany sales girl spritzed perfume and cologne as guest entered cocktail hour.  Upstairs guests enjoyed a wonderful dinner prepared by Cacciatore’s and tunes were spun during dinner by Tom of TDC entertainment.  Once dinner was done, the entertainment really began… everyone from the guest of honor herself to life long friends sang show tunes, like you’d hear on Broadway.  It was an amazing show and a wonderful party.   watson-blog-image.jpg
Congratulations on your  Sweet 16!

05.09.09

BarBee loves spending time with her grandson Max.  Max is a very playful little boy that loves things like monsters, reading books and playing with grandma’s dog.  Now that Max and his family have moved closer, grandma is excited about spending more time with her family.

Hunter Crevasse

05.05.09

Hunter is such a little man!  He is just on the go all the time.  I am surprised Christen and Bo aren’t exhausted trying to keep up with him.  Hunter wanted to do things on his own and was determined to climb on top of the block by himself.  So independent and he is only One!
