We support little Ginny

09.07.10

Wow!  Ginny has changed so much since we saw her in the hospital a few months ago.  She has a full head of hair and a great temperment.  Jason and Rachel couldn’t be happier to have their little girl home safe and sound.

Although Ginny’s family is incredibly lucky to live in Gainesville and be able to go home every night, not many families are that lucky.  As soon as Ginny left the hospital, another baby took her place.  Please join us in helping these families by participating in the Ginny’s Room program at the Ronald McDonald House of Gainesville.

For the entire month of September Photography 35 will being offering a special session fee ($25 for a studio session and $50 for an on-location session) and donating them to the Ginny’s Room Project.  Celebrate your family this fall with a new family portrait.

Cornell kids Make My Day!

09.02.10

Krista & Jason Cornell brought the boys in for a family portrait session last weekend.  I have to say, Gregg feel in love with Evan.  Evan is 5 and asks tons of questions, just like Gregg!  He loved being able to tell him about shooting on the sidelines at Gator games and explaining how the camera worked.  They were a match made in heaven.  And his little brother Drew was a ball of energy.  We can’t wait to share the pictures with krista and Jason tomorrow night.  Until then…enjoy.

Wow, how she’s grown!

08.31.10

If you’ve ever been in the studio, you know that we have a picture of this cute little baby in her mother’s arms hanging on the wall.  It is pretty big, 24×24, but a very sweet, touching picture of this super cute baby.  Well, Mia, the older of the two sisters is that baby.  Time just flies.  It seems like only yesterday we did that photo.  Now Mia is 3 and Zoey, her baby sister is just about to turn 1.  And boy are they “mini” mes of their parents, James and Megan.  At first I didn’t see it, but as I editted the pictures and looked at expressions you can totally see it.  We were super happy to get the session in considering it has been rained out 3X!  Megan, with the help of James’s mom & grandma, made the beautiful dresses for the girls.  We got such cute pictures.

Rylee Kozlowski’s first photo shoot

08.24.10

Rylee and her parent’s Jessica and Phil are going to have lots of first coming up.  My favorite – her first photo shoot!  She was fabulous and wide awake for the whole event (minus a few small winks in between shots).  You can totally see Phil in her.  From her expressions to that big head of hair – she is just like her dad.  Think she’ll be a daddy little girl?  I do.

Here is a sneak peek of Rylee session.  I’ll put more on our Facebook page later this evening.  Until then…enjoy.

Meredith’s senior pics

07.27.10

Meredith is getting ready to head into her senior year at St. Francis.  An avid dancer, we’ve already got a fabulous picture of her in her dance attire,  and latin wiz, we spent sometime searching for what Meredith loved.  The answer- Gator Sports.  Baseball, football basketball, she loves them all.   Though Meredith will be looking in the north east for a college, her family has spent many years attending Gator games at the swamp.  So what a more perfect setting.  This was one of the very last shots of the day, but it is so her.  I love it!

Sarah’s Senior Session

07.26.10

We had a blast recently doing Sarah Forron’s senior session in Micanopy.  We wandered around downtown and found a variety of cool spots to shoot.  Even with it being a 110 in the shade we still had a blast.  Summer in Florida can make you melt.  The next day Sarah headed back to CCL for 2 straight weeks of work on the Lake.  What a great summer job.  Glad we could steal her away for a few minutes to get these great photos.

Wow! How they have grown…

06.17.10

We did a family portrait for the Moss Family about 5 years ago.  Recently we ran into Linda Moss and her husband John at a YMCA soccer game and she said it was time to get the boys in the studio again.  Boys?  Kyle is taller than his mom and towers over me and Ryan is not short himself, especially considering he is in 5th grade.  Amazing how quickly they change.  And the great thing about Linda and John is that they know we will get more natural expressions when it is just us and them.  We had fun goofing off and hamming it up in the studio.

First family portrait

06.16.10

This was not how I envisioned the first family portrait for the Haeselers, but we are so happy we could help them document the first moment they got to hold their little girl, Ginny.  Earlier this afternoon they removed the tubes from Ginny and gave mom and dad a chance to hold their little girl who was born on May 28th.  When Rachel called last night to tell us that today might be the day, she said it felt like it was Christmas.  And what a great present it was.  Everyday I read Jason’s blog I wish there was something more we could do.  After seeing Gregg’s pictures, I am glad we were able to do this.  Rachel and Jason are an amazing couple and have already proven that Ginny has the best parents a little girl could ask for.  Ginny next big hurdle will be surgery to correct the TGA.  We will be keeping our fingers crossed that it happens soon, so the proud parents can finally take there little girl home.

Re-Elect Tom Jaworski

06.11.10

We recently did some portraits for the re-election campaign of Judge Tom Jaworski.    Tom has been a county judge since 2005 and is up for re-election.  Love this picture Gregg got of Tom.  It was really funny, because Tom assumed you show up with a camera, flash and just take a picture.  As he learned, to do a portrait properly it involves lighting and various other pieces of equipment.  To learn more about Tom and his campaign, visit his Facebook page Re-Elect Judge Tom Jaworski.  Good luck Tom.

Cervantes Twins

06.09.10

No you are not seeing double.  It is twin sisters Ellie and Paulina.  And those this is not one of the giggly cute pictures from the session it is my very favorite.  The girl’s body expression is just so cute and modelish.  Ellie with her arm behind her head and back like she is posing for a magazine (or is that Paulina?).  And then Pauline playing with her beads and giving that look like “I’m prettier”!   Love it.  And it is not something I could ever pose it is just what happened.  I love those types of pictures.
