Sarah’s Senior Session

07.26.10

We had a blast recently doing Sarah Forron’s senior session in Micanopy.  We wandered around downtown and found a variety of cool spots to shoot.  Even with it being a 110 in the shade we still had a blast.  Summer in Florida can make you melt.  The next day Sarah headed back to CCL for 2 straight weeks of work on the Lake.  What a great summer job.  Glad we could steal her away for a few minutes to get these great photos.

Ruano Boys

06.02.10

We did family pictures with Aydan when he was about two.  He was a serious little boy, that loved golf and got a big grin when you mentioned hitting the links.  His brother, Hayes is the exact opposite.  You couldn’t get Hayes to stop giggling and smiling.  The boys were precious and we had a wonderful time with them in the studio and look forward to the next family picture.  I also just saw on facebook that Hayes is now walking.  Congrats Hayes!

Mitrook Sisters

05.21.10

Ava & Kate were amazing in the studio! I love, love, love this photo! ( I could keep using the word love about 5 or 10 more times, it is exactly what I envisioned. I am so excited.) It is the sweet look of sisters who love each other. And Kim did a fabulous job job with the dresses. They were the perfect models.

Congratulation to the new Mr. & Mrs McDonald

05.07.10

Julie and Paul had an amazing day and we have the photos to prove it.  Camp Crystal Lake, where they shared there first kiss, was the perfect spot for their ceremony.  It was a beautiful day and the sun came out just prior to the ceremony and made the lake sparkle as they said their vows.  Once that was over, it was off to the party at Paul’s parents home.  There they celebrated tying the knot with all of there friends and family.  There was lots of dancing all night, amazing food (they’re foodies, a couple after my own heart), a dessert bar that was to die for, including cookies shaped like the CCL logo, made by a bridesmaid.

We had a great time documenting there day and look forward to sharing all the photos early next week.  Until then, enjoy this little sampling of pictures.

The Bank’s siblings at play

04.01.10

We love family photos where the kids relax and have fun!  Many parents feel everything needs to be look at the camera and smile.  This is one of my favorite picture!  Cameron and Keiley were just being brother and sister, not models for the camera.   It really shows there true personality as siblings.  It also shows the true love Keiley has for her brother.  Priceless.

Tour of Kitchens

03.29.10

Last weekend was the Junior League’s major fundraiser – Tour of Kitchen.  It is always so fun to see the different ways people set up there indoor and outdoor eatting areas.  It was also a fantastic chance to see the Wagstaff’s Extreme Home Makeover house and the amazing Weingart home on 24th.  There were yummie food demonstrations by Flying Buscuit, I Love NY Pizza, Omi’s Kitchen, Dragonfly and many, many more.

The Junior League is very excited to announce a new fundraiser for next year – Dancing with the Star!  Get a chance to see local celebs show off there stuff.

See us in Home Magazine

03.27.10

Gregg recently did an article from our big trip to SE Asia for the Jimmy and Rosalynn Carter Work Project in HOME Magazine.  The article tells stories of the build and the families that Habitat For Humanitity served in Thailand.  Habitat for Humanity is an amazing organization.  I know when we return to the US that everyone was very excited and involved in the Extreme Home Makeover for the Wagstaff family and Studio Percusion.  Please take that energy and keep volunteering for organizations like Rebuild Gainesville or your local Habitat for Humanity.  Keep swing the hammer and help those in our community.

Audrey & Jay’s engagement session

03.26.10

We had a blast recently photographing Audrey and Jay at Kanapaha Park.  They brought along there cute pooch to include in the their engagement pictures.  And I must say – she was a very well behaved dog (though she does know how to milk it for attention – I think all dogs know how to pull at your heart strings).  Ours would never be so good.   We had a great time strolling around the park getting great moments of the happy couple as they talked about wedding plans for their upcoming May wedding and the honeymoon.  Can’t wait for the wedding in a few more weeks.

Introducing Colton Highlander

03.14.10

What a precious moment between a father and his new son. We recently had Colton Highlander in for his first photo shoot with his parents, Jenny and Josh. We got some great photos with the new family. Colton was such an easy, happy baby to work with. The new parents couldn’t have been prouder.
